Pros

Culturally, CNET has a lot to offer. For the most part its employees are sociable and make work a pleasure.

Cons

There has been a marked decrease in the quality of middle management. Career development has, in virtually all cases I've experienced or borne witness too, been the last priority. Many line managers appear to more concerned with political advancement then in building the organization around them. When the downturn lessens, I would not be surprised to see large numbers of mission critical employees jumping ship.

Pros

- The people at CNET are some of the kindest and smartest I've ever worked with - Opportunity to grow/carve your own career path, as long as you're willing to put in the work - Team members at all levels are encouraged to have a voice and contribute to the bigger picture

Cons

- Change is constant and can get exhausting - Can be disorganized/all over the place (but I will say has made strides in this area over the years) - Significant workload, especially during certain times of year (September around Apple Announcement, Holiday/Q4) - if you don't like jobs that keep you busy then this is probably not the company for you
