Pros

No pros at all. Nothing positive in this organization to rave about

Cons

You will be working under incompetent and insecure program leads who know nothing about the subject. Your payments will be based on the approvals of your line manager who takes forever to approve your invoices. Funniest part is you will never know about the status of your payment approvals. The whole management propagates toxic culture. Run away from this organization as far as possible

Pros

- Has good brand (for some reason), so it will help you as a fresher - Some teams are genuinely good (beware of some teams) - Salary is more than what other think tanks offer for the same role - They try hard to show they have a good culture (if only seniors were interested in keeping that in check within teams) - You can learn a lot about 'aggressive yet effective outreach' - For all the pain they go through, I am glad that admin and finance team are treated well

Cons

- The middle management who got promoted early because they had less people in the team and who are good at showing work (but are actually dependent on juniors for consistent outputs) are the biggest bane of the office (be careful of them) - Reviewing is a joke. Just because you are producing and publishing, don't for once think that you have improved or the team has published something valuable. If only I could be payed for identifying mistakes in their publications, I would be a millionaire - Work life balance does not exist (not as bad as corporates of India and it changes from team to team) - I am focusing on the team part because it really matters which team you are joining. A general rule of thumb is that the larger the team, the worse it is, especially if it has considerably grown over the last 2-3 years
