I worked at Bunge North America full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Overtime available, 12 hour mandatory shifts in June.

    Cons

The most dangerous place you can imagine. Explosive hazards (there was one major explosion before I started there. Fall hazards galore. Extremely hot/cold work conditions. Management are bullies. They don't see a problem with working you to death; almost every mechanic there was either hurt, or had been badly hurt in the past. Before I started there was one fatality in production, with almost daily major injury... reports from other locations. The union sucks. Wouldn't work there again if it was the last job on Earth.

I worked at Bunge North America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

good work life balance in the front office, good benefits, good knowledgeable people to work with, good social activities and they do care about you - safety is number 1

    Cons

need some space for product storage, pay is good but could use a bit of a bump, not a lot of opportunity to move around,

    Advice to Management

keep doing what you do and put your employees above profits. You did a good job when I was there and I appreciated that. The facility could use some modernizing and the truck waiting area could be expanded to allow safer access to both driver and worker.
