Pros
Great track record in SAN market. Used to have solid engineering team - most of the talent which helped company fend of Cisco in SAN market has left now.
Cons
Disastrous execution in Ethernet switching. Combination of poor strategy and even worse execution has resulted in little/no traction in new markets like data center ethernet even though the company had strong SAN customer base it could leverage.
