Pros

- Very flexible about letting employees work from home. - Direct line managers almost always very fair, and genuinely care about your growth - Decent amount of holiday, sick pay, and even a small amount of paternity leave -Decent work/life balance (mostly) - A very well-paced on boarding process for new hires. I never felt overwhelmed.

Cons

- Annual "bonus" is always cut drastically or cut altogether - Cost savings has become the number 1 priority for BT, and has been for the past few years and is getting steadily worse. It is more important to them to cut costs than delivery a satisfactory or even passible product to it's customer. Lay offs are numerous, and jobs are being removed or combined for the remaining staff. - BT takes advantage of it's most loyal employees. Changing positions internally provides little to no remuneration! They give an excuse about only being able to give so much percentage increase in pay at a time, but if it had been an external hire, they would have been provided the full amount immediately. The full increase never comes, but your workload doubles.

Pros

Benefits are better than most US companies. You get twice or triple the numbers of days off per year.

Cons

Focus is more on originating company location for group events and emails. Due to time zone differences, it can be difficult to work with others without adjusting your schedule. It is difficult to get promoted outside originating country. Roles are few and far between in the US.
