Pros
It's a company with an outstanding track record of success in development, so it's easy to be proud of and feel part of something special. BRAC is also working on all the main issues in development so there is plenty to get stuck into. I have also never met a communications team colleague that I haven't got on with.
Cons
At the Headquarters in Bangladesh it is a highly centralised decision making process, which can be frustrating. There is also a culture of middle and senior management not answering emails in a timely fashion because they're too busy. Working at the UK, US or BRAC Bangladesh office is a very different experience from working at BRAC International, who are far behind in terms of efficiency.
