Pros

Some very good employees working here, as outside sales representative you are able to make your own schedule and enjoy close relationships with customers.

Cons

Low salary and commission rates. Use of personal vehicle with low reimbursement rate. Owner uses company as his personal credit card.

As the Human Resources Manager, I will overlook the irony of having a former hire recommending that I hire 'competent employees.' In truth, we have a great hiring process and we have built a tremendous team here at BPI Medical. We are quite proud of the team members here! It's an incredible team environment! For our outside sales team members, we certainly must highlight the fact that your hard work will define your income. But, as business culture that listens to its team members, we have listened. We have raised our monthly car allowance from $500 a month to $750 per month. On top of this $750 per month car allowance, our team members also submit for mileage reimbursements, as well. Of course, I thank you for your insights. It is my job to listen to your disparagements equally. I must state, in response to your criticism of the owner, your observation / criticism is poorly conceived. All of our outside team members (management, sales, and mobile technicians) have their own company credit cards. And, as the HR Manager, I can say without hesitation that they all utilize them correctly, wisely, and within proper guidelines (that does sound rather HR-ish, doesn't it?). I would recommend BPI Medical to anyone thinking about a career in sales. We have recently been awarded several national-level sales contracts and will be expanding. We have served the Pacific Northwest proudly for 40 years - and we look forward to supporting the medical community in other states, as well. 20 Year employee, not just a job, it's a career! Teamwork and Collaboration is a plus. Everyone has a voice.

Cons

Being in SW WA / Oregon, I miss out on being at BPI in person for activities and meeting.

Pros

The people are great, teamwork and commitment to not only each other but to the customer. The Op Mgr. is excellent and really cares about the team, the department leads are great, the sales team can be a bit hard but they work hard to keep money flowing.

Cons

The owner CEO is horrible. Yelling at people in a group setting is not management it’s wrong. Blaming others for his mistakes and not taking accountability. Micromanaging everyone by making suggestions or recommendations is just his way of telling everyone what he wants you to do. Integrity? He has none. You never know what person will show up, the good CEO or the horrible CEO. Don’t work here, find a better place that will appreciate you and treat you fair with respect.
