I have been working at BP full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Among the best things about working for BP is its inclusive nature. I had two spells with the company and came back because I had such a great time working there in the first spell. BP gave me lots of opportunities to shine. It allows you to make your job as big or as small as you want. It also allows you a lot of flexibility in time management, task management. It encourages skip level dialogues and drives excellence in what you do.

Cons

Process, the process is god and it seems to the be the proverbial tail.

Advice to Management

Encourage further simplification in process. We talk a lot about it but things still seem a bit hard to push through the process

I have been working at BP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great opportunity to join the company at an entry level leadership position, It provided me with a deep and broad understanding and knowledge of the industry and the company in a relative short time thanks to the access to peoples and resources that the FLP community provide, great exposure and visibility to senior leadership level enabled by the wide and diverse source of the community which spanned worldwide across the downstream business. I'm really impressed with the focus and attention that the company provide to work-life balance for each employee.

    Cons

sometime decisions making can be too long and cause of delays, difficult to navigate the large number of processes available

    Advice to Management

for less critical decisions, delegate the authority of making decision so that some tasks can be sped up.
