Negotiate a high salary upfront. The increases are a joke.
Cons
Lots of talk about triumphs and exceeding expectations in the market, yet cut 401k, PTO and increased employee medical contribution. Pay increase allowed me to break even on the medical cost. When the dust settled, I making what I did day one. Started early 2013. HR means nothing.
