Pros
- Founders have a clear long-term vision that is exciting - Many clever co-workers and no "lame ducks" (everybody pulls their weight) - Very good compensation and benefits - Everybody generally tries to help each-other - Incredible transparency with the team (All Hands etc)
Cons
- A lot of micro-management / sign-offs in every department leading to slow progress and frustration when one could have done the job oneself - Politics have started as company grows. Former flat hierarchy is under threat and employees are less empowered than they used to be - High workload and resource shortage which can affect process and product quality (particularly during peak season)
