I worked at American Eagle Outfitters part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

The discounts on the clothes were the biggest pro for me, you would occasionally even get seasonal deals where you could snag an entire outfit for $20. The environment was amazing and my coworkers were loads of fun. There were lots of opportunities for advancement and my managers were very flexible with my high school/college schedule!

Cons

The only cons that I encountered were occasionally receiving little to no hours on the scheduling and of course only earning minimum wage- but that's to be expected from a part-time job.

    Pros

GREAT discount, working with some open-minded and fun people, cool environment

    Cons

A lot of the other people I worked with were condescending and rude and not willing to help; they DO NOT TRAIN YOU AT ALL and expect you to know everything--you are given a headset on the first day. I went through a "training" for two hours with a couple other seasonal workers which was basically them telling you about their company policies and what to do in various emergencies. Nothing on how to work the computer or headset or anything. I don't know why a company would want their employees to be ill-informed

    Advice to Management

    TRAIN YOUR EMPLOYEES
