Pros

Access to audible was cool , but in the words of Good Will Hunting, "an education you coulda got for $1.50 in late fees at the public library."

Cons

Toxic working environment and communication style from management. This very often left me feeling diminished and mentally exhausted. For a feedback company, I feel it's ironic that Review Wave refuses to listen to employee feedback/reviews in order to make improvements. You are losing employees left and right... read the room, make adjustments! - Handle It Inner Circle City - This place felt like a high school, and there was a cool kids club that "could do no wrong". I encourage management, to read the book "Animal Farm", try to see which characters you identify with the most. Speaking of high school, there was once a sales floor rule at Review Wave that went something like this - If your co-worker can't make it to work on time, then everyone on his/her team will start their shift later and end later as well. The theory was that this would teach employees a lesson and help promote team work. Uh.. how about everyone be an adult and make it to work on time? Management will tell you when it is time to stand and make calls, and all of the sudden you’ll realize that the “standing desk” you were excited about during orientation isn’t so cool anymore. My mind and body knows when it’s time to stand and when it’s time to sit. Also, this company loves to gamify things like your salary/hourly-rate. You could get a raise one day, and before you know it be brought back down. This is your employees livelihood, not monopoly. Stop gamifying their lives. They love love love numbers… and I get it, in order to run a successful business you have to be. This constant hunger for numbers had me feeling like, “just a number” myself. Find me this number though: Out of all the (SDR’s) Sales Development Representatives that Review Wave have had over the past few years, how many of those have actually been promoted to an (AE)Account Executive role? Find me that percentage. Now out of those that you have promoted to AE, how many are still there? You know they say one is chance, two is a coincidence, and three is a pattern. Do the math.

Pros

Culture, not something that is just on a wall but actually means something. Starts from the recruiting process all the way to the CEO. Great benefits package and competitive pay. Lively office with meals provided and events monthly. The work you do feels impactful.

Cons

Things change and processes change as they do with most companies, be willing to adjust and adapt and you'll be great!

Pros

You develop thick skin fast.

Cons

If you are considering working here, please seriously protect your mental health and think twice. Aloha is emotional exhaustion disguised as hustle culture. You are not treated like a human being here, you are treated like a metric. Instead of constructive coaching, the environment feels centered around tearing employees down, creating anxiety, and keeping people in a constant state of stress and fear. Metrics and expectations are constantly changing, making it feel nearly impossible to ever truly succeed or feel accomplished no matter how hard you work. I personally experienced a major decline in my mental health while working here, and I was far from the only one. Burnout, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion felt normalized rather than addressed. Many employees looked mentally drained, yet were blamed for “not wanting it bad enough”. The CEO creates an environment built on fear, pressure, and financial insecurity rather than genuine leadership or mentorship. Motivation often felt rooted in making employees feel replaceable. The CEO cares about his personal image, money, and status while employees were left mentally and emotionally drained. The overall culture often felt immature, negative, and unprofessional. The gossip, disrespect, constant negativity, and behavior from upper management felt more like high school drama than a professional workplace. It created an environment where employees felt uncomfortable, unsupported, and emotionally exhausted before the workday was even over. There are far healthier companies where you can receive strong coaching, better compensation, real career growth, work-life balance, and leadership that actually values employees as people instead of production numbers. Save yourself.
