I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 8 years)

Pros

Standard mega consulting and outsourcing pros:
- exposure to many environments, challenges and the global work place
- accelerated learning and progression (for high performers)
- travel which is fun when you're young
- stability because these companies are so highly diversified

Cons

Standard mega consulting and outsourcing cons:
- travel gets old as other priorities become important in your life
- culture is not quite as fun as it used to be
- quality of counterparts has been impacted due to diversification of workforce (namely outsourcing and experienced hires that don't fit in)
- you don't "live with the decisions you make" and the changes you implement

Advice to Management

None. Keep up the amazing work!

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Accenture full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really good people and even the senior folks were very approachable and interesting
    Overseas opps as well
Training opportunities looked great but I wasn't there long enough to realise any of them

    Cons

    Treat people as numbers
Place people in roles for which they have no skills
Travel is expected and built in: I was already used to this and had no problem but others really struggled and they kept being put on commuting engagements.

    Advice to Management

Keep your promises and when people quit because they have been breached don't let senior partners bully and berate people. Most unpleasant experience.
