Pros

Its easy They sometimes feed you

Cons

They do not approve vacation time. You have to use your PTO to just to get a full check, They do not provide you with full time hours, sending you home early and keep temps there to take the loyal long time employees work, They do not let you off on the holidays, only first shift gets off, for example, memorial and labor day you work, but they let you off on the previous Friday and pay you for the actual holiday, even though you had to work that day, and then your paycheck is short, because the Fridays are different pay periods. They never make enough food, and dont control how much employees get, so often you have to drive miles away to try and go find somewhere open since they always run out. Managers have favorites and let them do easy orders, to get their OPH up, and sabotage others with harder orders to lower their OPH. They sent out a letter saying how much they profited, then they cut our pay $3.00 an hour. Have worked there over 3 years and only make 50 cents more than when I started. They will not certify you so you can get a raise, even though you ask every week for years. They gave us a 2 week notice that they are eliminating our shift and cutting our pay, again.... Lots of sexual harrassment. Any time you alert HR to issues they get fired, we go through HR reps like crazy, lots of hire turn over. It takes months to get PTO approved and4 months of the year is blocked off where you can not take off, so Thanksgiving and Christmas you can forget about spending time with your family. They had a meeting with staff to bring up issues, without the manager, but his roommate was in the meeting, so everyone who brought up concerns was magically fired or ran off. You can not call in or be late more than 5 times a year, have a dr appt or note, they still give you a point.

Pros

Working here has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I’m empowered to make my own decisions without being second-guessed, which allows me to truly drive meaningful change. The team I work with is phenomenal—collaborative, supportive, and passionate. I feel like I’m making a real impact every day and contributing to something that’s scaling in a big way. It’s rare to find a role where you have both autonomy and influence, and I’m grateful to be part of it

Cons

Staffing can be a real challenge. Entry-level pay isn’t very competitive, and some of the systems feel outdated and overly complex, which makes training harder than it should be. You wear many hats such as food catering and procurement can be especially demanding in busy seasons. The business is market-driven, the volume swings can be intense. It’s tough to staff appropriately without putting strain on the team. Still, if you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving tough problems, there’s a lot of opportunity here.
