      Pros

      Good benefits, nice perks, good location, good Christmas parties, most of the people are decent to work with

      Cons

      Pay could be better, executive likes to override policies to please members, takes a long time for decisions to be made, takes forever to hire someone to fill an old position. Also, it’s come a long way but it’s still an old boys club even in 2018.

      There have been a lot of changes to APEGA with the in-coming CEO. APEGA has high turnover, they have fired quite a few people unexpectedly, and they closed the Calgary office and wouldn't let them keep their jobs unless they moved to Edmonton. Mandatory in-office days have been reintroduced and we expect a return to 5 days a week once the initial shock has worn off. Morale is at an all time low and I think it will get worse before it gets better.
