Pros

The co-workers and scheduling flexibility. As an educator seeing student success is also a pro to the job.

Cons

Everyone not held to same policies, no room to advance, no raises or pay scales for teachers/advisors, no incentive for hard work except getting more work (employees lacking in their abilities get less work), and no recognition for veteran employees (treated and paid the same as new employees with no experience).

Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. We are disappointed to hear that after 5 years with us your rating is so low, its a wonder what keeps you with us and how that could be a balanced reflection in your current or future reviews. Within less than a year, we have built a Corporate HR team that strives for excellence, transparency, a positive employee experience and an in depth knowledge of HR Best Practices. We are sorry your experience or observations may have been different at one time. We value all of our employees and are a military friendly employer. Please note that some of our Veteran's opt out of recognition programs as that should be their preference to participate. Please take a look at our Employee Handbook for all current policies.

Pros

You can wear jeans, come in when you like, and people generally leave you alone. I was generally trusted to do my job without a lot of micromanagement.

Cons

Cliquish environment. If you are one of the cool kids you will have a lot of fun, but if you work hard and don't party, you will start to feel like a drone. Hard work clearly isn't valued, nor are job skills. The management plays favorites. When you are inundated with work, do not expect to get any help from anyone else; probably because they are also overworked. The new management is motivated only by profit and is uninterested in what is best for the students.

Pros

Good Pay, Great Benefits, Flexible work schedule for the most part - they expect you to work like a dog though.

Cons

Not worth the headache. Senior management is worthless and they don't take kindly to advice, suggestions and employees wanting to make the program better.
