    Pros

Lot's of opportunity to grow for those who want to. A great place to make a career.

    Cons

Compensation could be better, but is mostly at market.

I have been working at EY full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Some flexibility in schedule, although that isn't saying much when they take over your entire life.

    Cons

Way too many hours for the pay, treated badly by clients, extremely disorganized, people who are good at their jobs get punished with more work.

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are high quality and very smart, the vacation time is reasonable (3 weeks as a Senior, 4 as a Manager) and the work is interesting.

    Cons

They work you very hard, long hours and the 35 hour weeks in the summer aren’t real. Busy season is brutal. Compensation isn’t sufficient to make up for the long hours and high stress environment.

  5. "Great people and culture, but worst pay of all Big 4 firms"

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people
    Good support and coaching
    Great learning experience
Amazing travel opportunities or even opportunities to transfer to another city around the world - the firm really makes the effort to assist with making this happen for people who are interested
Overall a great place to work if you’re looking to build a solid foundation for your career and the people are amazing!

    Cons

Terrible pay (not a surprise), but the lowest of all big 4 firms in the city. Because of this staff are left feeling unappreciated and unfairly compensated for our work. Lots of seniors leave for other firms which offer better compensation for the same work - low incentive to stay

    Advice to Management

Stop being stingy if you want to keep your staff - not expecting high pay for big 4 job but it should at least be in line with other firms

    Listen to the staff

I worked at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This is an incredible place to work if you enjoy taking the credit for others achievements and using junior staff as the source of blame.

    Cons

There are only 24 hours in a day to lick the boots above you and demean those below you.

    Advice to Management

    Nothing polite!

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Ey has astonishing networking opportunities. I was able to network with CEO's CFOs, and other high management employees of some of our clients.
Sure we're busy and don't have much of a work life balance, but I have the flexibility to show up late every now and then and make it to other personal commitments etc.

People are amazing here. Lots of travel opportunities.

    Cons

Long hours in audit - But hey, we're young and we all gotta work hard at the start right?
