    I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    As a consultant at EY, you get great, diverse experience working with a wide range of clients. Your engagements will always be different, so the job doesn't feel as monotonous as others.

    Cons

    Compensation lower than industry, which can be frustrating when we're working with clients who work less, produce less, and get paid significantly more.

    I worked at EY full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Brand name on resume, many opportunities

    Cons

    Long hours, no work life balance, no appreciation for your hardwork, do not consider what employees want ie during downtime (non busy season) tax staff are being assigned to other department to improve hours utilization regardless if they like it or not.
    Annual performance not transparent, all depend on who stands to represent and help you, if you are on your own? good luck. There are so many...

    Advice to Management

    Utilization is important but employees satisfaction is also important which in turns will help boosting good quality and utilization.

    I have been working at EY full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    There are a few good people but just a handful.

    Cons

    They pay the least out of the big 4;
    The partners lie, i.e. they can't deliver what they promised on when I was interviewed;
    HR specifically told me that "they get the work and I just have to do it"

    Advice to Management

    Fire your HR staff due to poor service;
    Re-evaluate and audit your senior management including partners on their "teaming" skills
