    Pros

    -Flexibility
    -Great Benefits
    -Brand and Reputation
-Opportunities to build resume with valuable work experience

    Cons

    -Internal Roles are an afterthought
-Client Serving employees are valued more than internal employees
-Slow to no progression in the Internal group
    -Pay under industry average

    Advice to Management

Work on increasing the brand of internal groups as hard as you work on your Client Serving teams. Provide equal opportunities.

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are high quality and very smart, the vacation time is reasonable (3 weeks as a Senior, 4 as a Manager) and the work is interesting.

    Cons

They work you very hard, long hours and the 35 hour weeks in the summer aren’t real. Busy season is brutal. Compensation isn’t sufficient to make up for the long hours and high stress environment.

    I worked at EY full-time

    Pros

Great benefits and flexible work arrangements in addition to interesting projects. The size of the business provides an incredible network of smart and capable individuals.

    Cons

Periods of long hours which impact your social and family life. Pay continues to be in excess of 15% below market.

    Advice to Management

The size of the business can sometimes hamper flexibility in regards to innovation. Remember to remain flexible and adjust salaries to reduce employee turnover rates. It is clear that the changing market conditions have impact quality of life and compensation should be adjusted to reflect these new realities.

I have been working at EY full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great people
    Good support and coaching
    Great learning experience
Amazing travel opportunities or even opportunities to transfer to another city around the world - the firm really makes the effort to assist with making this happen for people who are interested
Overall a great place to work if you’re looking to build a solid foundation for your career and the people are amazing!

    Cons

Terrible pay (not a surprise), but the lowest of all big 4 firms in the city. Because of this staff are left feeling unappreciated and unfairly compensated for our work. Lots of seniors leave for other firms which offer better compensation for the same work - low incentive to stay

    Advice to Management

Stop being stingy if you want to keep your staff - not expecting high pay for big 4 job but it should at least be in line with other firms
