I have been working at Drake International full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great team, great visibility and people committed to the branch success. We have room to take some initiatives.

    Cons

Salary couldn't be less. Their variable compensation system is absolutely ridiculous and based on old business models. We attain objectives, but don't get the bonuses for reasons like "you didn't spend enough" which makes it frustrating for competitive employee.

    Advice to Management

Change the compensation / incentives system

    Pros

Great place to start if you are new to the industry/ workforce or Canada.

    Cons

Extremely high turnovers, poor bonus structure, poor management, work culture is okay, but not great.

    Advice to Management

Rethink your business structure plan so that it is fair to all employees. The whole company should feel like a team, not mini businesses trying to compete one another.

I worked at Drake International full-time

    Pros

    NONE NONE NONE NONE NONE

    Cons

Management yells at staff on a regular basis. Hire foreign workers and then abuse them verbally, expectations are that they work 10 to 12 hour days and only pay for 8. They have a labour lawyer on speed dial, this should tell you to RUN from this place.

    Advice to Management

    Take a leadership course!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been working at Drake International full-time

    Pros

Good downtown office location, very good training with Amanda Ono, that will prepare you for the recruitment industry

    Cons

Most unethical, hypocritical company out there. Stuck in 1960

    Advice to Management

Management loves to talk about how great they were in "the good ol days", when the internet and cellphones didn't exist. Maybe wakup and realize the day and age we were in

    Pros

The Branch Manager makes every effort to make each person walking through the door feel valued and appreciated. She strives to provide an environment that is positive and open-minded.

    Cons

Some of the technology currently being used is quite dated, which is surprising given the amount of training and development that is offered to new employees and some of the great products produced.
