Thank you for your comment. I agree that there is a lot of value in "grinding" to makes sales and more importantly keeping happy and satisfied clients. As this industry and business in general have evolved it is crucial that we do more than just "grind." We need to (and are) building ...

          Pros

          - Offers many services & products to clients (differentiate from other recruitment firms) - Great work life balance - Positive & encouraging area manager - Forward thinking CEO who is implementing changes throughout the organization

Thank you for your feedback on Glassdoor. I couldn't agree more with your advice about staying current with technology. The new website, ATS and ERP are just step one. Once we have that foundation in place, then we can do the really exciting work. Stay tuned. Chris

          Pros

Great colleagues who I work with.

          Cons

Really bad culture in my branch and across the company. No transparency and outdated leadership and technology. Terrible to work in a branch.

          Advice to Management

I worked at Drake International full-time for more than a year

          Pros

A small office can be family-like, friendly and open.

          Cons

Leadership is lacking - look at the turnover in the last five years. Technology is cumbersome and outdated. Half the job is administrative. Slow moving - don't change with the times. No real understanding how the different regions/offices are different and the challenges they face.

          Advice to Management

Chris, While I appreciate the response, it comes over a year later and a lot has changed in a year. Shortly after my initial review, the environment in the office changed quite dramatically. The focus changed from being service and people centric to the main focus being bottom line dollars. While I understand that this is a business, it is a people business and when people are no longer the focus the vibe in...

I'm not sure when you left the company. Your frustration is quite obvious - changes were promised and didn't happen or didn't happen fast enough. We are making significant changes; some which have been launched - new commission plan and augmented vacation. Some of which are underway ...
