1. Good challenging environment 2. Opportunities to build things from the ground up 3. Great product and cloud-based, mobile, as well as on-premises deployment 4. Open work culture 5. People from all backgrounds and experiences 6. Great culture, respectable people and a collaborative work environment 7. Accessible leadership 8. Employee centric 9. Great work-life balance 10. Cons
There are no major cons, but one for me would probably be more employee-centric benefits such as: 1. Group health insurance, 2. Remote working and internet connectivity allowance 3. Equity or stock options, 4. Cash rewards and recognition programmes

Always Overworked, Always Overlooked
May 29, 2023 - Customer ServiceRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Close team, exciting customers, plenty of learning opportunities. The new VP-level leadership changes have been excellent in CS.
Cons
The product is extraordinarily complex and the product org lacks the discipline necessary to properly document new things and sunset or simplify when required. The politics. There has not been a day since I joined the org where I didn't feel I need to be hyper-focused on what I say, how I say it, and who it is said to. I have heard an abundance of talk but seen very little follow through. There is a culture of anxiety in this workplace, where if you are not giving 120% (for poor pay) you are at risk of lay offs.

Unhealthy work/life balance
Jun 1, 2023 - Senior Tech Support Advisor in American Fork, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The pay was alright, and employee stock purchase program was pretty good.
Cons
The support department is toxic, with very little work/life balance. The preferred support team can expect to get off hours calls almost 24x7. They use the software to constantly monitor all your metrics and display them for the company to see in a way that encourages (silently) massive amounts of OT to be competitive.

For the Good of the Company

Pay is good. Benefits are good but dwindling
Cons
JJ is the CEO and he is a great for customers but a little bit of a loose cannon. It seems that all moves he makes are only for the good of the company. Our benefits continue to diminish.

Excellent Place to Work
Apr 11, 2023 - Technical Advisor in American Fork, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Good overall comp package. WFH opportunities. Thoughtful onboarding process. Positive, professional culture & collaborative work environment. Clear expectations & transparent performance metrics. Great way to break into the tech industry if you don't have a pure tech background. I learned a lot, felt well supported by my colleagues and managers, and performed really well so it was a great experience.
Cons
The Technical Advisor role is somewhat of a grind. Customers' problems become your problem, so you have to clearly understand the boundaries of the scope of what is a reasonable amount of assistance. Otherwise, some customers will overstep and want you to do their work for them. For the most part, the role is investigative and procedural so the tasks become somewhat repetitive. Some weekend and holiday shifts; caseload never goes away; so it can feel like you never get a true break, even if you take some PTO.

Decent place to work that's been going downhill lately
May 23, 2023 - Software Engineer in Salt Lake City, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
* Pleasant coworkers * Good work life balance * Engaging work * Learning opportunity
Cons
* Not much room to grow my career * A ton of upper management change recently without any transparency * CEO is unpredictable and it doesn't feel like he cares about employees

I love Domo
Apr 10, 2023 - Software Engineer in American Fork, UTRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great salary, but more importantly there are a lot of really, really incredible people here both in high and low places. There are a lot of people that really believe in the company and have stayed a long time for that reason. I feel like Domo and the people in the company have a lot of heart and really want to make a difference in their community and through the work the company does. Sounds cliche, but another reason I stay is my team. I've been treated extremely well and given a lot of responsibility and autonomy. Tons of good free food (catered meals) is a really nice perk too.
Cons
Seems a bit confusing that the stock is down with how well the company seems to have grown and performed over the last few years. There's a good unspoken culture, but it's not defined very well for people who want to go above and beyond in modeling that culture for others in the company.
