I worked at Disneyland Resort part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The community of Disney is not like any other job- there are bonds that you make there that you will not find anywhere else

    Cons

Scheduling can take over your life; depending on the department. You will most likely be working weekends and nights to start with

I have been working at Disneyland Resort full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Fun to work at and plenty of interaction with new people for all the extroverts out there. Access to the parks, free sign-ins and tickets plus a few other perks.

    Cons

Management is shuffled so often and many times they are not very competent at their jobs. Leads in various departments end up running their operations, managers are there just to watch over people, make reports and push the narrative.

I have been working at Disneyland Resort part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Go to the parks for free(ish). Get to do things only Disney Cast members can do at the park.

    Cons

They won't work with your schedule at all, yet encourage you to go to school. But if you have finals expect to be scheduled during them. Management has no power. The company is run by a union. You make close to nothing. Work full time hours without the benefits.

I worked at Disneyland Resort full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Coworkers, unique atmosphere, fun jobs, transfer options, it's Disneyland, fast advancement if you fit the culture and don't screw up. Technical positions like maintenance are well-paid and stable.

    Cons

Few paths for professional advancement from the bottom if you want a living wage, and if you don't move up quickly you won't. Rough schedule outside TDA if you have a family. Shamefully low pay for most people guests ever see.
