    I worked at Disney Parks

    Pros

Great opportunity to meet and collaborate with people from around the world at the #1 tourist destination in the world and the place where dreams come true

    Cons

Living conditions for cast members were basic and depending on your role, pay may not have been adequate to live off of

I have been working at Disney Parks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Cast members are genuinely happy to work here. A large corporation with many opportunities to move around to different roles.

    Cons

You are locked into your role for a least a year. This can be frustrating if you have chosen a location without much knowledge of the inner works, and that is hard to get unless you know a current cast member in that exact role and location.

I worked at Disney Parks full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Magical environment that it's cool to be a part of. I enjoyed working with so many different people as well. The parks stay busy so your shifts go by fast. It's really cool to get to go to the parks for free and participate in cast member only events. The customer service training is great and will serve you well at other jobs.

    Cons

It can be difficult to take specific time off. The clocking in and out system is so exact that it can be easy to get in trouble if you get held up at all. The hours are not ideal for a "normal life" in my opinion.

I worked at Disney Parks part-time for more than a year

    Pros

You get to meet tons of people from all over and make peoples once in a life time vacations meaningful if you go the extra steps to make your interactions special

    Cons

Some guests will never be happy and it isn't your fault. Between college program young adults that can sometimes space out or be snarky and the old embittered cast members who don't like to see anyone enjoying their job you co-workers can sometimes be the worst part of your job.

    I worked at Disney Parks

    Pros

free park entrance & cool coworkers from around the world

    Cons

leaders expect the absolute most in the shortest amount of time. always take the guests side even if cast members are in the right, resulting in getting a write up DESPITE not doing anything wrong

I have been working at Disney Parks part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great community and good hourly pay. With your fellow cast members the work is fun and time seems to go by quickly.

    Cons

Oftentimes can be lacking in hours if you're not full time. Also of course you have problem guests to deal with so if you suffer from social anxiety and have trouble dealing with angry aggressive people fair warning.
