    Pros

Great benefits and the leadership most of them anyway seem to truly care about employees

    Cons

It's a big company with some selfishly eager middle managers that can make it hard for you to advance.

Very superficial organization; claims to value culture but they promote backstabbing and a corrosive environment.

    Pros

The Elkhorn site used to be terrific, and then they were acquired by Deluxe and they put an incompetent sales guy in charge and things went downhill.

    Cons

Toxic environment. Promotion based on favoritism and sleeping around as opposed to skills and knowledge.

    Overall, not a bad place

    Pros

I worked as a software engineer full time for over 5 years. There is an open atmosphere work environment, and you will have access to all levels of management. And the area is mostly a nice place to live. Your commute to work won't likely be too far.

    Cons

If you're in development, the work expectation can often far exceed the compensation, and there is real no work-home balance.

    Atlantans Watch Out!

    Pros

IF you catch on with the right team, and IF you have a high enough tolerance for deceit and politics, you might make it 2-3 years here.

    Cons

Atlanta social and business atmosphere is great. Wisconsin team are a bunch of angry, resentful clowns who have sabotaged every person from Atlanta to have joined their group.

    Unstable

    Business Outlook

    Pros

New energetic CEO, Good work-life Balance at the first few months, Good work culture in the Atlanta office

    Cons

Poor teamwork between groups within the company. Poor midlevel management due to lack of experience. A high rate of employee turnover. Lack of innovation and discouragement of change. Lack of honesty and transparency. Lack of job security which creates a toxic and unenjoyable work environment. A repeated pattern of quickly hiring new employees then quickly terminating their employment.

    Bad place for IT talent

    Aug 18, 2016 - Software Engineer

    Business Outlook

    Pros

I believe they have some very talented people in technical positions but management does not listen to their feedback or ideas

    Cons

From the perspective of an IT person, this is the worst company I have worked for so far. Their traditional source of revenue -paper checks- is clearly in decline, and this has forced them to step into other types of businesses like hosting and digital media. Despite this, they have absolutely no vision for technology and no idea how to strategically leverage it to grow their business. There is no innovation, instead, it feels like they are going above and beyond to preserve the 'status quo'. Their management tactics are outdated and ineffective, management basically wants to make the different units of the company "compete against each other". On a more administrative level things are not better. They do not care about the companies they acquire or do business with, and they also do not care about their employees at all, more so, if they are contractors.
