    Current Employee - Claims Adjuster

I have been working at Crawford & Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Co-workers are great, for the most part a good work environment

    Cons

Training is not the greatest; seems like not enough time to provide proper training. Some of the management team plays favourites and not everyone treated the same, different rules for different people.

I worked at Crawford & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great co-workers. Nothing else to be said.

    Cons

Extremely low pay Expensive benefits for little benefits Favoritism = advancement Management tells you what you want to hear. High turnover. High expectation of work for low pay Some adjusters are working over 9hours a day just to catch up. Laid off several employees however still has ads for said position. No offer to be demoted. Poor training

I have been working at Crawford & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Not many- benefits are pretty good

    Cons

They assign more work then can realistically be completed, they don't manage workload and expect you to solve every problem surrounding the fact that they don't have enough employees to deal with the workload they take on.

I worked at Crawford & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Always busy and the days fly by. There's always someone willing to help you out if you need it and you never feel dumb asking a question - even if it's a dumb question.

    Cons

Busy, busy, busy and high stress job with high claim count. Not much in the way of co-worker bonding. Lots of overtime opportunity (which is both a pro and con) and not much room for growth. Not much in the way of training.

I worked at Crawford & Company

    Pros

Working at Crawford was a good experience. People were nice and professional.

    Cons

Some people working there had no Insurance background. I went to College for a few years but some people were able to step their foot into the business without a degree.
