    I worked at Conversant full-time

    Pros

Working with intelligent engineers, technically interesting projects, lighthearted atmosphere, unlimited vacation policy, fitness reimbursement, baked goods on Friday

    Cons

Culture of "extremely busy is good" even at the cost of stress and mental health, no conversations about career path or promotion path, micromanaging, expectations for high workload beyond capacity in a reasonable work week

I worked at Conversant full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Great intro to martech/adtech. If you are lucky, you will have leadership that helps you build a solid foundation for future opportunities. Company still has fun, smart, and tenured individuals. Unlimited PTO/WFH, which allows for work/life balance. Do not abuse it.

    Cons

Highly variable employee experience. Pay is still not competitive in many departments and continues to be low for the industry, even in roles that aren’t entry level. Turnover is high in client facing teams. Not backfilling engineers and focusing on outsourcing instead. Quickly losing talent to competitors and other industries.
