      Pros

For the most part, people are all incredibly kind and genuine. Its a family friendly work environment and a beautiful location.

      Cons

Extremely low pay, and understaffed in many departments. The advancement department is lacking in energy, innovation and overall professional leadership, which is a huge weakness to the university. Overall, I also don't believe they set the bar for excellence high enough.

        Pros

Good environment to work with nice people. Beautiful location right on Lake Michigan. Wonderful students all very friendly.

        Cons

Very low pay with someone with a college degree. Pay raises are ridiculous. If you're looking for a high paying career this is not the place.

              Pros

The hours were flexible and management is understanding of schoolwork and outside curricular projects and activities, knowing that being a student is a priority. Concordia University is a Christian school, which creates a warming environment in which to work, and other employees are great to be around.

              Cons

Quite a few students wish there were more on-campus opportunities to work, although I never had any problem finding a job. The pay system is a little confusing as to when you get you will be getting a paycheck. Pay is minimal, although because it is an on-campus job, the convenience is well worth it (to some).

Do you experience that how long the hiring process would take at Thermo Fisher? I got my second interview with hiring manager at the beginning of November but I haven’t heard nothing from them. When I’ve emailed them to check in they just said that the process would be slow, no time frame. I would be able to get an offer soon from other company but work as contractor. Should I wait for Thermo Fisher?

Booz Allen Hamilton Recently applied and I've been referred for an interview! Any tips on interviewing with Booz Allen? And if I am being asked to complete clearance and background upfront, is this a good indicator for being hired?

                      Alex L.

Applied for a job a few weeks back, got a call from HR yesterday morning about an interview next week. She mentioned she'd shoot me an email with all the interview details, but so far, my inbox is empty. Assuming I'll hear from her early next week, is it normal for them to expect me to show up for an in-person interview on short notice, like couple days?
