Pros
Most of the people are very kind. Everyone seems to work hard. Tuition reimbursement for family
Cons
The pay is very low. I hold a master's degree, was offered paltry salary. Little appreciation for achievement or innovative thinking. Potential discriminatory hiring practices. If you are not a Lutheran male, and go to the proper church, kiss your advancement opportunities good bye.

Pros
Good environment to work with nice people. Beautiful location right on Lake Michigan. Wonderful students all very friendly.
Cons
Very low pay with someoneVery low pay with someoneVery low pay with someone with a college degree. Pay raises are ridiculous. If you're looking for a high paying career this is not the place.

Pros
The hours were flexible and management is understanding of schoolwork and outside curricular projects and activities, knowing that being a student is a priority. Concordia University is a Christian school, which creates a warming environment in which to work, and other employees are great to be around.
Cons
Quite a few students wish there were more on-campus opportunities to work, although I never had any problem finding a job. The pay system is a little confusing as to when you get you will be getting a paycheck. Pay is minimal, although because it is an on-campus job, the convenience is well worth it (to some).

Pros
On a individual basis, support staff is terrific.
Cons
Adjunct Instructors are not valued by Concordia. Ideas and opinions are not sought out. Wage rules get changed without notifying employee so the change that shows up on pay checks is a surprise. University does not value academic integrity. The tests questions on on line tests can be googled by students so 'A' students are not really A students. Classes are shut down without notification of those who are teaching them. Pay is very low.

Pros
Concordia has a beautiful campus that is accessed completely indoors via walkways and tunnels, so no going outside in the brutal Wisconsin winters. They have made improvements throughout the years. Health, Dental and Vision insurance a good. Never saw a bill.
Cons
The pay is exceptionally low for hourly staff. Senior members of university administration have been there forever! There is some racial problems going on with upper management.
