I have been working at Coast Capital Savings full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I can't really come up with anything positive to say about Coast Capital Savings.

    Cons

Coast Capital Savings has been the worst employer I've ever worked for. Their employee development plan is not very rewarding, and the only way you can get a higher role or get paid in bonuses for your hard work is all through your connections. Everything at Coast is based on who you know and your leverage on them, and by knowing the right people you can just relax and get paid for soing nothing, while others would do whatever and not get what they really deserve.
I personally don't recommend this company to anyone.

I have been working at Coast Capital Savings full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There's literally nothing positive that I can note about CCS.

    Cons

CCS always tries to say that it really cares about employees and based on their performance and abilities it always tries to help them grown in the company and get to higher positions. In reality, everything at CCS depends on who you know, and how much leverage you have with them. CCS has definitely been the worst company I've ever worked at, and I am looking for an alternative to leave CCS. I definitely don't recommend them to anyone.

    Advice to Management

Look at Blueshore and other credit unions, and learn how you should treat your employees.

    Pros

Not much, this is a sinking ship

    Cons

Currently no direction, the management team is unqualified and inexperienced. 'campaign' to raise money from members resulted in a loss to the credit union of tens of millions of dollars that will go on for years and for what ...

    Advice to Management

Quit and let someone who knows what they are doing take over

    Pros

Decent working conditions and comp some nice colleagues

    Cons

Ego centric ‘leaders’ who are unqualified for their roles and driven for personal success. No real feedback is wanted. Just fall in line or else.

    Advice to Management

To the Board, select a new ceo who will eliminate the passive aggressive culture and bring in qualified and straightforward execs who know how to run a business
