I worked at Coach full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Opportunity to learn a lot about the Supply Chain process and build bench strengths

    Cons

Slow growth opportunity and lack of work/life balance must be addressed.

    Advice to Management

Management must make sure that employee recognition and work/life balance is better addressed. Otherwise, it is a good company to work for.

I have been working at Coach full-time

    Pros

Everyone is extremely hardworking, dedicated and passionate. Coach pays well, provides great benefits including bonuses and stock options. The new offices are really nice. Coach is doing a good job re-inventing itself and it's been fun working with them.

    Cons

I do think Coach could be more aggressive in their benefits and offer things that companies like Google and Facebook and Zillow are offering - better care for new mothers, IVF/Adoption help, flex time, paid or unpaid sabaticals, etc.

    Advice to Management

I do think leadership could be more aligned in regards to strategy. I also would like leadership to review our benefits package to see if any of the above could be added in.

I worked at Coach full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Very good discount and beautiful new headquarters in Hudson Yards. Good health benefits and strong bonus and stock incentives for mid management.

    Cons

The management is very poor. They lack leadership skills. It is a culture of micro managers who do not allow capable employees make decisions. Management lacks strong decision making skills. Poor performers are allowed to stay on due to political reasons.

    Advice to Management

Allow employees to make decisions and support them. Need to a culture shift to allow less politics and more product and people focus.

I worked at Coach full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Very collaborative environment with good growth opportunities. Good location, better than average benefits. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    Cons

With more competitors in the market as well as growth in size of the company, it is more difficulty to satisfy Wall Street expectation

    Advice to Management

May need to review growth strategy

    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at Coach

    Pros

Good pay and benefits, some good people, but management is quite poor at setting direction and accepting any sort of feedback.

    Cons

One VP, when meeting with the CEO, has their director present the data. If the CEO doesn't like it, they they blame the bad results on the director. If the CEO likes it, the VP takes the credit. No one tells the CEO the truth, he is too threatening, only good news is shared for fear of loss of job.

    Advice to Management

Companies are best run when they act on all information.

I have been working at Coach

    Pros

    - best place to work in fashion industry - many sr level mentors - learn a lot about leadership - constant feedback

    Cons

    - basically, very hierarchical, - jobs are very narrowly defined - difficult to affect decisions - corp hq is in inconvenient location. no food options in area

    Advice to Management

go for more accessible price points and close down more stores. possible acquisition of other contemporary brands should be considered
