Pros
If you’re lucky enough to have friendly and competent teammates (and I do), working with them can be great!
Cons
There’s a lot of performative allyship—internally and externally—and it’s incredibly disheartening. Some members of the leadership team (managers and above) talk a lot about “setting boundaries,” but they themselves don’t demonstrate it and often create asks of their teams that don’t allow for it.
