      Pros

Good training though repetitive - it does stick though. Flexible hours - you pick your own and it's good for students.

      Cons

Management always plays favouritism - you will be written up or warned for several things that another person does and they won't even bat an eye. Supervisors mostly power-trip and don't do their job. They don't guard and sit at the front eating half the time; especially if you're 16-17, you're left to do everything. The pay is so bad, considering how many courses you need to do to have the position. Always understaffed so they don't staff shifts accordingly. They literally just hope for the best and hope some person will take the shift last minute - if not, the splash guard/assistant or even shift supervisor needs to go in and teach. Stupid.
