    “Tech environment” with agile pods becoming the norm Colleagues are empowered to try new things Flexible schedule including remote working possibilities allow for excellent work/life balance.

    Cons

    I’m pretty new and still enjoy that “new car smell,” and I’m sure I’ll find some things I don’t like eventually, but for now, all is good!

    Pros

    Lots of corporate engagement with colleagues lately focusing on improving their technology experience.

    Cons

    Low bonuses and raises each year; always re-organizing and cutting staff. Poor investment in technology and skills are not up-to-date with the latest most common software.

    The job itself collecting is very easy I’ve always worked collection jobs I love it but management is DISGUSTINGLY non moralistic

    You meet some great people.

    Cons

    Very difficult to get a promotion out of the retail side of the company. Bank prefers to hire from outside than train/promote to new position. Unrealistic sales metrics and goals, increasing level of micromanagement, and middle management that is far removed from the experience of branch employees. Citizens is not doing a good job adjusting to the new realities of retail banking. Foot traffic is slowing and... their old models for generating business are not working as well anymore, this difference is being pushed on branch level employees without a clear direction from corporate.

    Advice to Management

    Redefine roles/expectations of employees to fit new realities of banking. The LB role should not exist without tellers, you're well aware there is no incentive for other bankers to refer business.

    Great benefits, consistent paycheck, initially good training.

    Cons

    Poor management in branches with constant changing of colleagues made the situation very stressful. Inconsistent supervision with inexperienced managers.
