      Pros

      - Great HR department. - An overall sense of unity within the agency. - Very knowledgeable coworkers and supervisors (people know their stuff). - Room for growth within Children's Aid. - Good for an entry level experience. - Great benefits package. - Flexible hours (within the evidence-based arena).

      Cons

      - Low pay with little opportunity for earning more, despite credentials. - Little room for growth within the evidence-based model positions. - Less diversity in "higher up" positions. - Work-life balance is awful; you will be worked to death. - Not enough genuine support in this position (which was extremely stressful). - Need more bilingual therapists within the evidence-based models.

      Low Pay- TMHR Sucks

      Pros

Children's aid hire some of the best workers in the field- employees are dedicated and committed to the families. Probation is only 90 days; flexible schedule; trauma informed organization; really hard to get fired here; tuition assistance program

      Cons

TMHR is so disconnected from the rest of the agency- the director sucks like she will not listen to your complaints she will say how great the agency is doing and that's it. I am convinced that she is not for the employees but there to strike the VP's egos. Too top heavy (you have supervisors; then directors (many many directors); then VPs; then a CPO (I think); then the CEO Extremely low pay- worked at CAS for well over 5 years in that time I received a masters degree they pay really really low salary. You see the difference when you go to the main office (they have coffee machine; dish washer; someone to clean up after you) and the program sites (my site didn't even have money to buy program materials-like you end up spending your own money to make the program work) worked here for a while and you definitely saw the power dynamics.
