      Pros

      2% raise a year, flexible schedule, easy going peers, multiple locations so its you wont have to move, never boring, working with and helping children in need.

      Cons

      Can be hectic at times depending on the position, long hours at times, misbehaving children depending on the position.

      Pros

      Traveling to other boroughs. Flexibility in hours (to some degree) Ability to work from home, on occasion. Ability to grow professionally and personally. Being able to work with an array of systems and/or companies (e.g. schools, prisons, hospitals, etc.)

      Cons

      Low pay. Miscommunication between staff and miscommunication between staff with clients. Long hours and/or staying late more than most jobs. Nonrecognition of employee's efforts. High pressure environment.

      Good people that want to make a difference MSWs are often hired Flexible hours - you can build your own schedule Enough office space

      Cons

      Limited support to social workers. Social workers are expected to do ten million things at once with high caseloads and high stress levels and many deadlines. No real Evidence based modules used to empower clients Limited growth to workers Long hours and "comp hours" are rarely used High turnover rate due to poor working conditions Low pay and new benefits package is very expensive

      Great staff, schedule can be flexible at times

      Long hours, anything can come up on any differentday so you might stay late when you don't want to, underpaid and underappreciated
