Big Size, lot to learn, continuous investment in IT systems etc.
Cons
work - life balance could be challenging depending on type of work and particular time of the year but there is enough flexibility to ensure things are done on timely manner.

Pros
Nice and responsible coworkers overall. People are generally willing to help you. The culture and work environment really differs depending on the team and location you're in. If you have a nice and supportive manager, it's not bad and you could have a lot of flexibility. Overall there's a very strong safety culture.
Cons
Work-life balance is a challenge. The business is run pretty lean and everyone has a lot of work to do. No one will give direct pressure on you, but you have to work overtime to keep up. Also, because it's lean, it's hard to see where you can grow and advance.

Pros
There is a high level of autonomy with management type roles as the company values entrepreneurship and reducing bureaucracy. Chemtrade employees are highly engaged and vested in helping to create a great company. It is small enough that disengaged employees are few and far between. Safety is a core value held by all management. Richmond plant specifically has new site management that are strong leaders, good people, and technical experts in their field.
Cons
We work really hard. The high level of engagement results in long hours. The job is fun and I enjoy it, but work life balance is a struggle sometimes, particularly with travel. As this is a young company, lack of corporate programs/guidance can be frustrating at times.
