I worked at Charter Communications full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

ok benefits and free parking for those who work at their headquarters in Stamford, Ct.

    Cons

Very stuffy Corporate culture and lacks diversity; boardrooms are filled with middle aged white men. Not a true reflection of the customers they serve across the country! Feel bad for those corporate professionals who came on board from Time Warner Cable after the merger. Not a place for progressive thinkers or those who thrive in innovative environments.

I worked at Charter Communications full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Huge discount on your cable bill and good healthcare

    Cons

After Charter bought Time Warner Cable everything when to crap. They couldn't afford to buy them but still managed to do so somehow. They cheaped out on everything from their employees by cutting bonuses and canceling events such as christmas parties, to overcharging their customers for crap. This merger should of never happened.

    Advice to Management

Hire people that know what their doing and clean house with idiots that have superiority that have NO idea what their doing.

I worked at Charter Communications full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Starting Base Salary (hired under TWC), PTO and 401K.

    Cons

Small company taking over a larger company still has a small company mindset. HR is not on Middle Managements side, they will always cover up for Senior Management. Corruption is rampant and if you point it out you are labeled the problem. "Gotcha" management style and if you don't bow down to the Senior Management they come after you and make accusations up.

    Advice to Management

Ask the people closest to the field for some advice in terms to offers and field strategy. Look at the relationships between Senior Management and your HR teams.
