Great potential to learn the industry, make a living, and potential career.
Cons
Poor management all the way from top down. Indirect instructions, poor communications, no team moral. Extremely un-empathic, non transparent directors, managing partners, service managers, to team leads. All good things said from interview, hiring to training. People in this company only cares for themselves and does not care about building a positive work culture. Everything is mean-less unless you make sales.

Worked in the Houston HQ. Nothing a pro other than the above market salary. I guess the higher salary is to retain people who choose money versus their self respect and fairness. If you can tolerate the culture, you will survive. It's either staff who have worked here forever or staff who left within a year or so.
Cons
Archaic management. Different rules for different people. Also noticed that the favorites of the Executive Leadership team manages to get their family members hired easily in the higher positions and get away with things. High turnover of staff including management team. The management expects staff to live and breathe this company. Toxic culture and work politics.

Great funeral company to work for, benefits are a big plus, flexible hours, with opportunity for growth in professional funeral service.
Cons
It can be hard work, & hours, it is a 24-hour 7-day week industry, but rewarding for a person who has a desire to be all they can be in funeral service and that want a stable career.
