RecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Supportive working environment. Competitive pay and benefits. Schedule flexibility and opportunity for career advancement.
Cons
Healthcare in general is a high stress job, especially during this time of a pandemic.
- Current Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
CareFlite has excellent leadership in place who truly listen to your ideas and value your opinions. The organization as a whole is very supportive and is a family friendly atmosphere.
Cons
EMS is a tough industry to work in in general. There are long hours and hard days. Staffing shortages don’t help, and there are lots of shifts to pick up. The company is however working on ways to assist their employees with this.

Pros
The ambulances sometimes turn on, and occasionally we don’t shut trucks down due to low staffing
Cons
Literally everything. Most toxic place I have ever worked

Pros
The people that you work with day to day are generally awesome. Protocols are fairly progressive, and the medical director is great.
Cons
Management is all either detached from the job at hand or has their hands tied by the very top of the food chain.

Pros
Pay, pto, culture, management, self value
Cons
None come to mind for me
- Current Employee, more than 10 years★★★★★
Pros
Good pay and lots of ot. Offers to pay you while you go to school as your full time job. Eager to find those that want to help others succeed.
Cons
Lacks clear communication. Low staffing

Pros
Getting some medical experience I guess.
Cons
Not emergency medicine like what you would think. Almost entirely a transport service, not 911.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
You will get a paycheck, make good friends and have some good days
Cons
Safety is a high priority here however, when something goes wrong and a safety feature fails- such as tracking of a vehicle, no repercussions occur for the oversight that should have been handled by a possibly lazy employee who knew of this issue. When an employee not in management- makes a mistake or oversight- a write up is given and possible retraining occurs. The inconsistency of how non management and management employees are treated leaves the door open to thoughts of nepotism and good ole boys club.

Pros
It’s busy, but depending on your location and desire to travel you transfer to other areas.
Cons
The benefits are not the greatest

Pros
Lots of hour and overtime always available, consistent pay, and job security.
Cons
Management is not very good, they brush off a lot of problems when brought up, not good with fixing equipment when it needs it. A lot of miscommunication.
