I worked at Capgemini (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Excellent culture, numerous learning opportunities, superior people management skills exhibited by managers, just a great place to work & learn

    Cons

Can't think of anything specific to the company. There may be some problems with a project or manager but not anything for the employer.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work, focus a little more on the Canadian market in terms of business development

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Capgemini is a large, established company, which translates into the kinds of perks you'd expect: competitive pay, decent benefits, and things like training, support, and methodology.

    Cons

Capgemini is an incredibly siloed company, which translates into the kinds of hassles you'd expect: poor communication, poor internal mobility, and highly inconsistent training, support, and methodology depending on which practice you happen to be attached to. Also, some practices have a strong "body shop" focus - bid low to win the contract, then staff it with whoever you can find and never mind the little details like skillset match.

    Advice to Management

Every onboarding deck, periodic training module, and corporate all-hands meeting talks big about Capgemini's core values. For some people, the reality on the ground is very, very far removed from those values. Leadership should recommit to the ideals of delivering honesty and quality to clients, and get off the "underbid the contract to win the business, and then issue a series of change requests to make up the difference" treadmill.
