I have been working at Capgemini full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Company and benefits are great compared to other IT consulting companies but it is too political and there is a lot of bureaucracy to move up the corporate ladder. Only the ones who are close to managers get promoted even if they don't deliver to expectations

    Cons

Political and there is too much bureaucracy

    Advice to Management

Please lookout for who actually works and who only draws salary

I worked at Capgemini full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

It is another consulting company with more clients
They offer better healthcare, 401K and leave benefits compared to theirs such as Cognizant and TCS

    Cons

Don't trust the promises of GC or better opportunities-You will never get it and even the person who promised is at VP level. All they do is just lie and play with people's career and dreams.
For people in H1b it is constant threat of sending back to India as there is nothing called Bench allowed for H1B resources. Whether you are hired in India or US doesn't matter.

    Advice to Management

If you can't deliver don't promise anything when you hire people

I have been working at Capgemini (More than a year)

    Pros

Job Security is the advantage but this is disappearing very fast.
Environment and ambiance is pretty relaxed.

    Cons

Pros is the biggest Cons since this has led to top heavy structure.
Transfer internally to other BUs is a challenge and works in a negative way.
Lacks motivation to mid level people.
Designation is based on Salary which is a fallacy for non technical persons.

    Pros

Good for Freshers joining this company and getting the project ASAP.

For Laterals and talented its a waste of time and Career spoiling company... There 65% of old employees are incapable/unskilled as mentioned in news. But you as a New joinee will be expected to work (as shadow resource) under existing employees (even if there skills/experience is only 1% to 90% less than you) .

In-short its NO MORE a offshore based company,,,,, but is a pure Body-Shopping company and there is dirt of new projects.

    Cons

Lazy Sales team and Senior managers.

    Advice to Management

NO matter... since you already aware of all issues....
You are only making money by giving False commitments to employees while joining the company.
Even the written email commitment has NO value in your processes......
