    Very professional, fair compensation, passionate colleagues, wonderful management

    Cons

    Some roles could be too specialized and therefore could make you less marketable. Pay freeze due sometimes due to being a government agency but that is also a con with private organizations too.

    depends on your team and your management.

    Cons

    at the time - top heavy; hierarchical; every move had to be vetted by someone higher. you had no power to make any decisions about any part of your work, even if it was a project that you had been working on for years. not the greatest to build your confidence. not great preparation / skills learning for other opportunities. work was mostly administrative, secretarial work. regardless of job title.
