I have been working at Cambly part-time for less than a year

    Pros

You get paid in USD weekly, so you can live wherever there is a decent internet connection. You can work literally whenever you want or how much you want. (You need to keep your rating up about a 4.9 if you want consistent hours, but I haven't found that to be very difficult so far.)

    Cons

Some of the students can be a bit challenging, but it's rare. It would be nice to have a quicker way to keep track of students. Women will probably have a tougher time of it than men. It would be nice to have something to work towards as far as bonuses or pay rates.

I have been working at Cambly part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

I can work whenever I want, as much or little as I want and stop to do some travel or study or just have a change for a while. This suits my life style.

    Cons

Yes, the pay is pretty low, but it's always there every Monday afternoon in my Paypal account.

I have been working at Cambly part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I love the fact that I can help students from all over the world, set up my own time and schedule and change reservations if I need to.

    Cons

I get a lot of trial students that aren't serious about learning, have some that are online for one minute, or just a few minutes and I can't do much to help them. The pay is not very good. I'm qualified and would like to be paid more than .17/minute.

I have been working at Cambly part-time

    Pros

Convenient- work any hour that you want, as much as you want Great people- meet people from all over the world and hear their interesting stories. Good experience- a lot of students want to practice English grammar so this gives tutors good opportunities to practice teaching and explaining concepts to students.

    Cons

    Lower pay than most companies

I have been working at Cambly part-time for more than a year

    Pros

You can teach when you want... providing you find students online. If you cultivate your skills, you will build a ready and waiting group of clients who seek you out. Then you experience great satisfaction from meeting and working with interesting people in many countries. Also I appreciate the management. They make an effort and they are supportive.

    Cons

The pay is low, but so is your commitment if you so choose. Wearing earphones for long periods of time is difficult for me.

I have been working at Cambly

    Pros

No issues with payment, payment through paypal every week.

    Cons

There used to be priority hours available in many time slots. There used to be an abundance of students. Now it is hard to get hours and students. Support is slow. Automated system means you get booted out for a week if your internet experiences a hiccup and you can't answer a handful of calls.
