    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Unfortunately I have none to share. I had little contact with anyone from the company throughout my time representing them onsite at a client in Houston. There were multiple issues with my expense reimbursement, as my account was never actively reviewed. I would not work for this company again.

    Cons

I was a consultant at one of their clients for 10 months. Not once did anyone from CSI reach out to me to ask how the project going, or how I, as heir employee was doing. Granted I was found through a subcontractor, however I was representing CSI so I feel they should have taken some interest in my role. Additionally, being that I was subcontracted, I was paid through a third party, but there were always issues with my expense reimbursements. CSI would ask me to email them receipts I had already sent and would never keep up with my account. After having worked for them for 8 months, they came back with a list of items that would not be reimbursed and would need to be deducted from my future pay. I was offered an extension by the client I was placed at, and as much as I loved working for them, I could not long deal with the frustrations of CSI. The client was not happy I was leaving, and it is unfortunate that they lost an employee they wanted to keep due to negligence by CSI.

    Advice to Management

Take a bigger interest in your contractors, even if they are subcontracted- they are still representing CSI when they are on site. Be more proactive in your contractors accounts and stay up to date on processing expenses. I hope my case was a one off, and that I unfortunately had the bad luck of having a horrible experience with your company.

    Pros

The pay is competitive, they always put you up in decent places, and you get assigned where you specialize.

    Cons

Some consultants are untrustworthy, which results in some micromanagement. It is hard to get hired on a project because of this issue.
