      Pros

      - Great benefits, generous flexibility days and vacation days - Offers great learning courses and opportunities - Speaker events are high quality - Overall, you work with great people who are passionate about the cause of the organization

      Cons

It is a real challenge for individuals to grow in their careers as a manager/senior manager/director at this company. The growing theme for new hires as a middle manager is that they come into the job expecting to do what they were hired to do but realize their responsibilities are quite diminished and they spend most of their time battling office politics to push progress. Also, managing directors have all the power and do not delegate, so over time one's knowledge in the field gets diminished and eventually if you are not careful you become an order taker.

      Terrible politics

      Pros

      - interesting work for the most part - better hours than banking - (slightly) better culture than banking - international opportunities - no face time - pretty sweet job if you're a senior

      Cons

      - really bad office politics. promotions and special assignments are not based on merit, you have to dedicate significant potion of your day to sucking up to seniors - no real training or mentorship. the seniors really dont care about you - working with global offices means that you get treated as an outsourcing facility - huge turnover at the analyst/associate level - below market pay

      Pros

Good work life balance. Great people to learn from. Rigorous workflows. Learning opportunities through Launch & Learn, with free launch. Great working environment.

      Cons

Focus too much on diversity (especially gender) instead of merits. Career development is slow, head counts are too limited and strict. Office politics everywhere and bureaucracy.
