I have been working at CPP Investments full-time for less than a year

    Pros

CPPIB's future outlook is good (as a result of immigration, they are recieving more money than the pensions they dole out)

    Cons

    1. The culture is rotten. People are very biased. It is very difficult for new employees to gain the trust of the manager. 2. Work life balance is non existent. You are expected to work ~12 hours and get no appreciation. 3. There are no 360 degree reviews which means if your manager is biased against you, you have no option but to leave the organisation.

I have been working at CPP Investments full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Company is really supportive of initiatives, very good benefits, very good culture overall. People are highly motivated and cooperative. You're working with a lot of smart people!

    Cons

Working hours is too long. It's not uncommon to work 15+ hours per day during busy time. Working on weekend both days is the expectation. Lots of turn over due to the stress and workload (average 8-9 months).

    Pros

    Cons

The company has grown very quickly in the last few years as far as the number of employees. Some of the great culture was lost as a result of this growth.
