    I worked at CNA

    Pros

Benefits and profit sharing, not much else. Work life balance is fine, everyone leaves by 4 but no commitment from employees as senior leaders do not support them.

    Cons

Terrible environment. Huge turnover both voluntary and involuntary. Incompetent CEO. Heard he is finally on the way out but probably too late. No staff engagement.

    I worked at CNA

    Pros

It was a small enough company that you were able to get to know a lot of the people that worked there. Associates worked hard, but it was a great work environment.

    Cons

Sometimes the US involvement was a tough pill to swallow. Much like other US parent organizations, they don't understand Canada and they make it difficult to carry out Cdn practices. etc.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at CNA full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Long history and a broad reach for broker customers. Some great colleagues.

    Cons

Newer Canadian EO is devoid of EQ and comes across as socially inept in this regard. This shortcoming manifests in ways that emasculate his direct reports and at times his own customers. Draconian management style.

I worked at CNA full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Benefits are good Some staff members are hard working

    Cons

If you're a good hard working person, you do not get recognition, however, if you slack off, are rude to others they reward bad behavior High turn over Unhappy environment Senior staff doesn't listen to your concerns. Public displays of embarrassment by middle management
