    I have been working at CIBC full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - very friendly and welcoming environment. - very competent people. - employee engagement is a core value. - no negative stigma around working from home '-new CEO is well liked.

    Cons

    - salaries are fair but not lucrative. - roles are very narrow, so for a seasoned professional, it feels like you are only using a small part of your knowledge and skills at work each day.

    Living in the past. Some employees are promoted into roles they shouldn't be given. A lot of unqualified candidates climbing the corporate ladder.
