Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookNo Opinion of CEOI have been working at CIBC World Markets full-time for more than a year
Pros
Decent salary and people are pretty nice. Stable job
Cons
Long hours Don't learn much A lot of older higher ranking employees that seem to be promoted based on just time with firm A lot of young people seem to be leaving for other banks which is problematic and makes me wonder what others offer. No real career growth, just title inflation as time progresses and salary raise over time.

Neutral OutlookApproves of CEOI have been working at CIBC World Markets full-time for more than a year
Pros
Good exposure to senior management. Progress in the role really depends on how supportive your manager is. If they support you then you go places. If not I've seen people being stuck in the same role for years
Cons
Fast paced environment can lead to long hours, depending on project
