Terrible Pay; making less than I did 20 years ago. Onboarding was practically non-existent IT systems are the most painful of any organization I've ever worked for Little work-life balance Weak Senior Management Little Personal/Professional development Cheap All about the margin; not so much about the people.

Too political at the senior management level. Resources have play many roles at the same time which leads to burn-outs.

Lack of integrity in dealings with clients. Communication with clients reserved for a small group to reduce chances of anyone slipping up and innocently saying something to the client that the company doesn’t want the to know about what is really going on. Leaders that lead through intimidation and example..., BAD example Members including senior managers with conduct and attitude toward other people that would not be put up with by other companies but protected by VP(s) whose conduct is as bad or worse Unprofessional slamming of clients and other company members and leaders in front of team members by Directors and VP(s) No escalation path at the company for member concerns, no confidentiality and valid fear of retribution Lack of respect for experienced members Do as I say not as I do attitude by leadership No access or presence in the office of Director(s) hence no direction, no contact, no response, no support Protected poor performing members in relationships with senior management Hires foreign workers and co-ops dirt cheap and expects them to perform at a senior level Values revenue over customer service and customer satisfaction Directors, VP(s), HR unprofessional conduct and sharing of information at social events

I'm sure CGI will work for some, but just not me. The constant shuffling of senior management leads to every new person shrugging responsibility for historically poor decisions, and trying to make their mark with sweeping changes.

Terrible Senior Management. Most of the time you will not know who your manager is as it changes all the time. Forced vacation the minute you are un-billable you are forced to use your vacation. Zero investment in your career for skills development. You will never get a raise no matter how good a performer you are.. The Senior Management only cares about their numbers to get their bonuses and will work you and not pay you to achieve it. Forced to work OT and not get paid out or if they do pay you it is pennies on the dollar. Only work at CGI if you have no other choice and need a paycheck. But start looking for a new job as fast as you can.
