    As an American based company sometimes the Canadian side is not the main focus but incredible effort being made more recently to change that as leadership sees the value in Canada

    - Lots of opportunity for independent work and decision-making - Low management oversight if you've proven you can deliver - Very low stress, flexible environment, and pleasant people to work with - Good opportunity for advancement - Company outlook feels positive under the new management - No pay cuts during covid

    - Relatively high amount of churn on new developers; people who have been around for 5+ years rarely leave but newer people seem to be a bit of a revolving door (probably related to compensation) - Compensation is a bit on the low side compared to other companies in the area - Legacy code base is a chore to work with; not enough resources to modernize at an appropriate pace

    Fantastic Leadership. Throughout the Pandemic they not only offered us more to keep working hard, they didn't set high expectations and stress people out. They didn't lay one person off due to the Pandemic and the CEO took a $1 in pay for the remainder of the year. Fantastic leadership! I feel well taken care of by this company and the people I work with are fantastic!
